Anna Elizabeth Rector of Union died Monday morning, May 2, 2011, in the St. John's hospital in Washington. She was 83. Anna was born July 26, 1927, in Boise, Idaho. She is the daughter of the late Jack and Lois Pritchett Crum.
Surviving Anna are three daughters Pam Lowe of Union, Mary Bachmiere of Bismarck, N. Dakota, and Joy Greenwald of Dunnellon, Florida, and three sons Tim Rector of Union, Jack Daniels of Licking, and Larry Daniels of Rolla. Also surviving are six sisters Wilma of Canada, Patsy of Michigan, and Vera, Faye, Evelyn, and Sandra of Idaho, and two brothers George of Duke and David of Idaho. There are 23 grand children, 26 great grand children, and one great great grand child.
Anna is preceded in death by her husband Launey Rector, a son Johnny Salts and three infant children. Also preceding Anna are three brothers Charlie, Donald and Danny, and two sisters Carrie and Dorothy.
Anna moved to Union in the mid 70's where she worked for Hazel Manufacturing in Washington. She also worked at Walmart in the deli department in Washington until just a few years ago. She attended the Baptist church in St. Clair and volunteered at the Rainbow House.
