Billie Lee Zumwalt

Billie Lee Zumwalt of Bland died Monday evening March 8, 2010, at her home after a long illness. She was 79. Billie was born on January 18,1931, at Pacific. She is the daughter of the late Guy and Evelyn Jaccould Wolfe.
Billie was married to Jim Zumwalt and together they have eight children. Surviving Billie is her husband Jim, sons Jimmy Zumwalt of Belle, Don Zumwalt with his wife Ona of Belle, Keith Webster with his wife Davine of Belle, Dennis Siedner of Jefferson City and Mike Siedner with his wife Jackie of Ozark, and daughters Peggy Lingo with her husband Tom of Bland, Debbie Todd with her husband Doug of Elsberry, and Janna Schulte with her husband Kurt of Owensville. Also surviving Billie is a sister Norma White of Pevely. There are 21 grand children, 15 great grand children, and 6 great great grand children.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents and grand parents Emil & Wyand Jaccould. Also preceding Billie are two grand children Amanda Thompson and Travis Webster.
Billie grew up in Chamois and moved to the Bland community in 1974. She worked at Amex, Brown Shoe, and S & S Packing Company. She was a member of the Order of the Easter Star and Crossroads Baptist Church. Billie loved to cook. She would say, "twice too much is better than a spoonful not enough."
