Bonnie S. Jones

Bonnie Sue Jones, age 68, of Bland, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at her residence.

She was born on April 9, 1952, in Galveston, TX, a daughter to the late Alvin E. and Sarah E. (Jackson) Baumann.

In 1979 she was united in marriage to Charles E. Jones. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2005.

Bonnie had been employed at the Brown Shoe Company and retired from Playmaster in 2003.

Bonnie enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting, and playing games with her friends. She loved being at the creek fishing on a warm day but her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bonnie will be missed greatly by her family and her friends.

Bonnie is survived by: one son, Alvin Shaul and his wife Sabrina of Leslie: one daughter, Dena Straford of Owensville; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Fred Baumann of Bland and Richard Baumann of Jefferson City as well as many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bonnie was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Beier and one brother, Edwin Baumann.

Visitation for Bonnie will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Bland from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Memorial Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. Masks are requested and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
