Bridgett G. Krause

Bridgett Gidget Krause, age 62, of Bland, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family. 

She was born on April 29, 1962, in Los Angeles, Ca, a daughter to the late Larry and Carol (Hagen) Hicks. 

Bridgett was a Pharmaceutical Tech in both Washington State and Belle and was a member of the Zion Evangelical Church in Bland.

On March 16, 2019 she was united in marriage to Jim Krause at the Zion Evangelical Church in Bland. Jim survives of their home. 

Bridgett was adventurous, fun, and enjoyed antiquing, knitting, sewing, doing crafts, target shooting, and squirrel hunting. Bridgett loved being outdoors camping, fishing, or doing water sports. She was strong willed and her faith in God was strong. Always the cheerleader for her boys, she loved attending all of their games and events when they were young. Bridgett will be missed greatly by her family and friends. 

ln addition to her husband, Bridgett is survived by: her three sons, Chad Walkup (Kevin) of Rolla, Dustin Jones (Stormie), and Darrin Jones (Laura) of New Haven; eight grandchildren, Camri, Derek, Emmett, Luke, Rylee, RaeLynn, Nash, and Cruz as well as many extended family members and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mitzi Drewel. 

Visitation for Bridgett will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the Zion Evangelical Church in Bland from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Old Bland Cemetery.
