Charles Ronald Robertson

Charles Ronald Robertson, a lifelong resident of Belle, died Wednesday morning, December 16, 2009, in the Frene Valley Nursing Home in Owensville. He was 75. Ron was born on April 11, 1934, in Osage county. He is the son of the late Thomas Monroe and Mamie Lee Basham Robertson. Ron was married to Janet Branson and to this union two children were born.
Surviving Ron is his wife Jan, a son Rick Robertson of Vichy, and a daughter Shevawn Tipton with her husband David also of Vichy. Ron is survived by two brothers and one sister, Harold with his wife Mae of Rolla, Elmer with his wife Faye of Belle, and Iva Jane Schultz also of Belle. There are seven grand children Ben Tipton, Heather Wunderlich, Shane Buchholz, and Nathan, Kyle, Erica, and Dalton Robertson, and five great grand children Kaylei, Levi, Kaiden, Bryce, Avery and Desiree.
Preceding Ron in death is one brother, Raymond Robertson and one grandson Cody Robertson.
Ron worked for many years at the International Shoe factory in Belle and the Brown Shoe Company in Owensville. For several years before his retirement Ron worked as a custodian at the Belle Schools. He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Belle.
