Chelsey Dawn Bray

Chelsey Dawn Bray, age 20, of Belle, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023, at her home.

She was born July 15, 2002, at St. Mary’s in Jefferson City, a daughter to Christopher and Theresa (Sauer) Bray. Both parents survive of their home.

Chelsey was a 2020 graduate of Belle High School and a member of the First Christian Church where she was baptized on June 26, 2016. She had been employed at Wal-Mart and had recently started working at Dollar General.

Chelsey was an animal lover and had taken online classes to be a Veterinary Technician. She enjoyed volunteering at P.E.P. in her spare time. She was very artistic and loved to draw, paint, and do crafts and many of her works decorated her room. Chelsey was a very compassionate person who would try and be friends with everyone and would take time out to try and help out someone who was struggling with life. She adored kids, whether it was her niece, nephews or her friend’s children, she loved spending time with them.  Gone too soon, she will be missed tremendously by her family, friends, and those that knew and loved her.     

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: three brothers, Garret Bialczyk and his wife Danica of Belle, Trey Bray and his wife Mayre of Rolla, and Harley Bialczyk and his wife Savannah of Las Vegas; her paternal grandparents, Albert Bray and Judy Bray; her maternal grandmother, Mildred Buehrlen; one niece, Kyrah Bialczyk; and two nephews, Ryker Bialczyk and Trey Bray, Jr. as well as many extended family members and friends.   

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Larry Sauer, an aunt, Tammy Sauer, and her step-grandfather, Johnie Buehrlen.

Visitation for Chelsey will be on Friday, January 27, 2023, at the First Christian Church in Belle from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the First Christian Church in Belle from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Richard Doughten officiating. Interment will be in the Skaggs Cemetery.
