Cheryl Ann Costley

Cheryl A. Costley, age 61, of St. Peters passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at her residence.

Cheryl was born March 12, 1955, in St. Louis, a daughter to the late June Mabel (Noel) Party and Elmer Ray Party who survives of Belle.

She was a member of the R.L.D.S Church in Bridgeton and had been employed as a Rehab Nurse in the St. Louis and St. Charles areas. Cheryl was a graduate of Hazelwood High School and received her degree in Nursing from Southeast Missouri State University.

Cheryl loved to travel and eat at the finest restaurants she came across. She enjoyed cooking, listening to all kinds of music, and going out to dinner with friends. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Elmer Ray Party, Cheryl is survived by: three sons, Michael Costley and his fiancée Mandy Roberts of Troy, Steven Costley and his fiancée, Amber Duell of Lake Sherwood, and Ryan Costley of St. Peters; four grandchildren, Austin, Kaitlinn, Colton, and Chase Costley; and one sister, Susan Butler and her husband, Leroy of Belle as well as many extended family members and friends.

In addition to her mother, June Mabel Party, Cheryl was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Mabel Noel and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Rachel Party.

Visitation for Cheryl will be on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle. Funeral Services will follow at 5:00 p.m. with John Williams officiating. Interment will be at the Community of Christ Cemetery in Linn at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Cheryl Costley.
