Cody J. Smith

Cody J. Smith, age 28, of Vichy passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020.

Cody was born July 5, 1991, in St. Louis, a son to Harold and Helen (Abbott) Smith. His parents reside at their home in Vichy.   

Cody attended school in Pacific and had been a Belle area resident for 9 years.

Cody was a jokester with a great sense of humor and he loved to make people smile. He was a social butterfly and never met a stranger. Cody was always there for anyone in need. He loved watching movies and listening to music but his greatest love was his family. A great father to his children, his best times were spent with them and the rest of his family. He will be missed greatly by his family, friends and all that knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, Cody is survived by: his fiancé, Danielle Taylor of Vichy; three children, Ayden James Smith, Trenton Lee McNelly, and Aaliyah Destiny Cadence Smith; a dear nephew, Uriah Wheeler; one brother, Keith Wayne Scroggs of Pacific; and one sister, Elaine Marie Scroggs of Vichy as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Cody is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Linda Mueller and his paternal grandparents, Harold and Bernadette Smith.

Cody has this tattooed on his wrist, He wants you all to know that, “Life goes on”.....  

Visitation for Cody will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. with interment in the Mueller Cemetery.
