Dennis G. Cantriel of Belle, Missouri passed away on December 27, 2022, peacefully in his sleep at Gasconade Manor in Owensville, Missouri.
Dennis was born on February 10, 1951, to George E. and Alice E. (Cautrell) Cantriel in Washington, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Patricia Ilene Nowack on November 25, 1972, in Bland, Missouri.
Dennis attended church most recently at The Bland Baptist Church. At the time of his passing, he had been retired for 9 years from ABB in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was a graduate of Bland High School in 1969.
Dennis enjoyed his hobbies of fishing, golfing, cooking, and Bar-B-Qing, as well as playing drums for local bands. He and his wife Ilene would often travel to St. Louis or down South having fun at the casinos along the way.
Dennis was not afraid to witness or preach the gospel. He led many services and led the young adult service for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and Stepfather George Dittman, the only father he ever knew. His wife Ilene of 49 years. His brother, Douglas Cantriel. His granddaughter Amanda Thompson and great-granddaughter Samantha Buehrlen.
He is survived by his children, John (Tammy) Baxter, Regina (Randy) Ragan of Belle, Shelly (Len) Wright of St. Clair and Scott (Nancy) Baxter of Belle. His sisters-in-law Joann Cantriel of California, Missouri, Darlene (Jerry) Skaggs of Jefferson City, Missouri, Willadeen Vandegriff of Belle, Missouri. Brother-in-law Wayne (Kathy) Nowack of Chicago, Illinois. Also, his 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being made for a small private family ceremony.
