Edith Holman

Edith Holman of Belle passed away Sunday morning, May 16, 2010, in the Frene Valley Nursing Home in Owensville. She was 93. Edith was born on November 8, 1916, in Bethel, MO. She is the daughter of the late Alfred Berton Jones and Ada Mae Rogers Jones.
In 1933, Edith was married to Noel Ammerman and to this union two sons were born, Gene and Chester.
In 1938, Edith remarried Davie Holman and a son Cecil was born.
Surviving Edith are two sons Cecil Holman with his wife Arlynn of Hazelwood and Chester Ammerman with his wife Betty of Washington. There are 17 grand children, 36, great grand children, and 12 great great grand children.
Edith is preceded in death by her husbands and a son Gene. Also preceding Edith are three brothers Clinton, Carney, and Alfred Jones and one grand daughter Sharon Ammerman.
Edith and her parents moved across the river from Bethel to Paydown. She lived most of her life as a resident of the Belle community and was a member of the Liberty Church of Christ.
