Ellen Ann Kreitz

Ellen Ann Kreitz, age 54, of St. Louis, MO passed away Sunday September 26, 2021, at her home.

Ellen was born November 3, 1966, in St. Louis, MO the second of two children to Sue Morgan and the late Edwin C. Morgan.

Ellen graduated from Northwest High School in 1985 located in House Springs, MO. She was a member of National Honor Society and encouraged her nephews to strive to do well in school. Ellen attended University Missouri St. Louis after graduation.

Ellen worked many years for AT&T then Lucent Technologies. She was currently employed by Wells Fargo Financial in St. Louis, MO.

Ellen enjoyed looking into family history and recording genealogy information to share with cousins, her nephews, and aunts and uncles. Ellen was a regular at the Fourth of July family event and the Elrod family reunions. Ellen made regular trips to Kansas City to visit her parents. These visits usually included an evening of playing Canasta or Five Crowns. Family meant a lot to Ellen; she dearly loved her nephews and spending time with them.

Ellen was preceded in death by her father, Edwin C. Morgan. Ellen is survived by her mother Sue Morgan, of Kansas City, MO; her brother and sister-in-law Tony and Kim Morgan of Platte City, MO; and her nephews Bradley and Chris Morgan, who fondly called her Auntie.

Ellen was a kind and caring person that will be missed greatly by her family. She will be fondly remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Ellen will be on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Kevin Runge officiating. Interment will be in the Skaggs Chapel Cemetery.
