Erline A. Robertson

Erline A. Robertson, age 86, of Belle, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at her residence.

Erline was born June 18, 1927, in Belle, a daughter to the late Victor and Ella (Von Behren) Young.

Erline was a graduate of Bland High School, and had worked in the office of International Shoe Company for a number of years.

On December 22, 1946, Erline was united in marriage to Ernie Robertson. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2002.

Erline was a lifelong area resident and a member of the First Baptist Church in Belle where she served as the church clerk for 53 years. She also was in charge of the kitchen at the church for a number of years.

Erline enjoyed embroidery, reading and spending time with her family.

Erline is survived by: one son Ed Robertson and his wife Denise of Owasso, OK; one daughter Mary Ann Robertson of Jefferson City; one sister, Peggy Halbert and her husband Vince of Belle; three grandchildren, Douglas Robertson of Columbia, Curtis Robertson of Jefferson City and Stefanie Robertson of Tulsa; two great grandchildren, Jacob and Sydney Robertson of Jefferson City as well as nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at Sassmann's Chapel in Belle.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Belle with Rev. Jimmy Bickell officiating. Interment will follow in the Pilot Knob Cemetery.

Expression of sympathy may be made to the First Baptist Church of Belle.
