Floyd Albert Jarvis

Floyd Albert Jarvis, age 82, of Belle passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at his residence.

Floyd was born October 19, 1934, in Chamois, a son to the late Floyd Augustus and Laura Francis (Wolfe) Jarvis.

On October 18, 1980 Floyd was united in marriage, in Bay, Mo, to Ann Groeber. She survives of their home in Belle.

Floyd had been employed as a Truck Driver, Welder, had served as a Police Officer in Washington, Mo, and retired from McDonall Douglas. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with family.

In addition to his wife of 36 years, Floyd is survived by four sons, Robert Jarvis and his wife Debbie of Gerald, Gary Jarvis, Michael Jarvis and his wife Dana of Bland, and Mark Jarvis and his wife Tiffany of Henrico, VA; two daughters, Wanda Martin of Georgia, and Cindy Luttrell and her husband Mike of Dayton, TX; three grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Barbara Dixon of Union as well as many extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Floyd is preceded in death by one brother, Fred Jarvis.

In keeping with Floyds wishes, private graveside services were held on Friday January, 6, 2017 in the Skaggs Chapel Cemetery.
