Harold (Tiny) Eugene Howarth

Harold Eugene (Gene) "Tiny" Howarth passed away in Texas the morning of February 28, 2012. He had been in poor health for quite a few years.
Gene was born as the second son of James Marion and Mabel Edna (Woodruff) Howarth on June 29, 1937. His only sibling, brother James and his wife, Barbara (Ott) Howarth reside in Belle, Missouri. Surviving Gene in the home is wife Kay, whom he married March 30, 1998, sons Harold E. Howarth, Jr. (Geno), with wife Vicky and James W. Howarth, stepsons Shannon Griffin and fiancAC., MC Guisti, Neal Griffin, and Andy Schmidt, with wife, Michelle. There are 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Gene received his education around the Belle community and graduated from Belle High School in 1955.
Those that have predeceased him are his mother, Mabel Woodruff Howarth Crum, stepfather Ashley J. Crum, father James M. Howarth, stepmother Rose K. Howarth, son, Steven Howarth, daughter, Rosemary Howarth Elliott and great granddaughter, Allison Dodd.
Gene worked many years for General Motors, in training horses and moving to many locations as a superintendent for power plants. Gene lived life to the fullest, totally loved life and enjoyed sitting in his yard and reading a good book. He will be missed terribly by his family and friends.
