Henry Edward Stulce, age 78, of Belle, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis.
Henry was born March 5, 1945, in Rosebud, a son to the late Charles and Mary A. (Stockton) Stulce.
Henry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
On May 15, 2009, Henry was united in marriage to Marjorie Ramsey at the courthouse in Linn. Marjorie survives of their home in Belle.
He had been employed at Kingsford in Belle, Tyson foods in Sedalia, and retired from Playmaster after almost 30 years of employment. Henry was a lifelong area resident.
Henry loved being outside whether he was mowing grass, camping or hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Owensville gun club and enjoyed taking his children and grandchildren there to target shoot. Henry enjoyed watching westerns and old war movies on tv as well as the Big Band Theory, Andy Griffith, and Gomer Pyle USMC. Playing spades and pitch was another favorite pastime of his. Above all, he enjoyed the time spent with family. Henry was a kind and giving man who made many, many friends through the years. He will be missed greatly by his family, friends and those that knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, Henry is survived by: four children, Penny Bailey and her husband Neal of St. Peters, Tanya Welch and her husband John of High Gate, Teresa Wolf and her husband Tim of Ironton, and Todd Stulce and his wife Linda of Newberg; three step-children, Tim Ramsey and his fiancé Jen of Rolla, Dusty Woodfin and her fiancé Jeremiah of Belle, and Johnny Ramsey of Fenton; nineteen grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson, Robert Leo King IV as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family member’s and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Tony Clark, his first wife Peggy (Clark) Stulce, and three sisters Mary Jane, Janet, and Janey.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Military honors be at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Linn Public Cemetery.
