Janet Jerlie Robertson

Janet Jerlie Robertson of Belle died Saturday, May 28, 2011, in the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was 73. Jan was born on August 13, 1937, in Belle. She is the daughter of the late Edward Clinton Branson and Mary Monroe Branson. Jan was married to Charles Ronald Robertson and to this union two children were born.
Surviving Jan is a son Rick Robertson of Vichy and a daughter Shevawn with her husband David Tipton of Vichy. Also surviving Jan are two sisters, Nadine Brown of Belle, and Jerry Jackson of Osage Beach. There are seven great grand children Ben Tipton, Heather Wunderlich, Shane Buchholz, and Nathan, Kyle, Erica, and Dalton Robertson and six great grand children Kaylei, Levi, Kaiden, Bryce, Avery, Desiree, and Abby.
Jan is preceded in death by her husband Ronnie, a brother Clinton Branson, and five sisters Grace Malan, Velora Chaney, Erlene Schultz, Omar Lansford, and Mary Ellen Robertson, and a grandson Cody Robertson.
Jan worked at International Shoe Company until it closed and then Brown Shoe Company until it closed. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Belle.
