Jerry Robert Schneider

Jerry Robert Schneider, formerly of Belle, MO, departed this life on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach, Mo at the age of 68 after a long battle with heart disease. Jerry was born on December 1, 1943 to Alvin Louis and Irene Margaret (nee Hoste) Schneider in Moline, Illinois. At the age of 10, Jerry's family moved to Owensville, Mo. Jerry's father was originally from Missouri and the family returned to Missouri to make their home. Jerry spent the majority of his life in the Mid-Missouri area. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Jerry is survived by his wife, Sharon, of the home at Stover, Mo; daughter, Regina Turner of Rogersville, Mo; son Mark Schneider, with his wife, Dawn, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sons Jerry R. Schneider, Jr. and Walter "Jay" Schneider of Kaiser, Mo; eight grandchildren, Sesily Matthews, Alexis Twigg, Breanna Schneider, Cade Schneider, Tyler Rosemann, Blake Schneider, Cloie Schneider and Levi Schneider. Also left to mourn his passing is his sister, Carol Rieke and her husband, Ron, of Bland, Mo; nephew, Albert Rieke, and nieces, Kimberly Rieke and Christine Vaughn; and several great nephews and nieces. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents. Jerry was an organ donor. His remains were cremated. At Jerry's request no public services will be held. A private family memorial gathering was held in his honor.
