June V. Moore

June V. Moore of Belle passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, in the St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. She was 83. June was born on June 28, 1929, in Belle. She is the daughter of the late William Oliver and Viva Morelock Giesler. As a young woman, June went to California and met a young man by the name of Sam Moore. Then on Feb 8th, 1950, June was married to Sam in Salem, Ark. For the next 20 years June and Sam lived the life of a career military family while Sam served in the U.S. Navy.
Surviving June is a son Dennis with his wife Suzanna of Corpus Christi, TX., and a daughter Linda Moore with her partner Suzette Beebe of Lakewood, Co. June has two granddaughters Jaymie Greenway with her husband Mike and their two children Jack and Maddie of Rolla and Lauren Blanchard of Corpus Christi. Also surviving June are two sisters Lucille Vincent of Belle and Dale Harvey of Wentzville and a brother Ed in Owensville.
June is preceded in death by her husband Sam who passed away on September 11, 1981, at the young age of 54. Also preceding June are six sisters Ethel May Fryer, Eula Belle Mesko, Hortense Woffard, Wilma Shanks, Delpha Moreland, and Ruby Mosher, and two brothers William Oliver, Jr. and Utah Giesler.
June retired from Missouri Thistle in 1994. She continued to enjoy family and friends after her retirement.
Vistation for June Moore will be on Sunday evening starting at 5:00 for friends at Sassmann's Funeral Home in Belle, Mo. Services for June will be Monday, April 15, 2013 at 10:30 from Sassmann's Funeral Chapel in Belle, Mo. Interment will be in Skaggs Chapel Cemetery.
