Kenneth Ray Reed

Kenneth (Kenny) Ray Reed was born June 19th in 1955 to the late Hershal & Zillah (Neal) Reed.  He was a joy to all for 65 years until his passing from this life on Saturday, November 14, 2020.  As he was received into Heaven, he was surrounded by family who loved him very much.

Those that left before him include: his wife Theresa, son Michael (Mike), granddaughter Cherrish (Punkin), his mother & father Hershal & Zillah, sister Alice Cox, brother Donnie Reed, nieces Debbie Carwile, Brenda Bethune, & nephew Chucky.

Family left to mourn this loss include his son David Reed & Aimee, daughter Debbie Burnett & husband Chris, grandchildren Paige, Taylor, Brody, Sebastian, Skyler, Quintin, Tyler, Theresa, Colton, Trenton, & Shayla, one great granddaughter Brystal, two sisters Audrey Perkins and her husband Don and Verna Butler plus many nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Kenny was known for his sense of humor and his work ethic. He spent many years doing manual labor.  His most memorable and joyful job was working for Butler & Sons Implement. When able, Kenny continued to share his skills with anyone in need throughout his entire life.

Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, but his most loved pass time was spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Visitation for Kenneth will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Church of Jesus Christ Belle Restoration Branch church near Belle. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Phil Cox officiating. Interment will be in Skaggs Church Cemetery.   

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Skaggs Chapel Cemetery.
