Kim Lee Vandelicht

Kim Lee Vandelicht, age 64, of Belle, passed away on Wednesday, August 2,2023, at the Gasconade Manor Nursing Facility in Owensville. Kim was born on March 2, 1959, in Council Bluffs, IA, a son to Sonny and Iva Mae (Owens) Vandelicht.

Kim was a 1977 graduate of Belle High School. He worked in construction for many years remodeling and building houses. Kim was a simple man and lived a simple lifestyle. He was always eager to laugh, and he never took himself or the world around him too seriously. He was an excellent cook, avid fisherman who considered himself “the fishin’ magician” and enjoyed riding his Harley until his health no longer permitted him to do so. To know him was to love him and there was never a dull moment when he was around. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by those closest to him.

In addition to his mother, Kim is survived by one daughter and one grandson; one brother, Kelly Vandelicht and his wife Kris of Belle; one niece, Amy White and her husband Kyle of Wildwood; cousins, Susie Bock and her husband Dwayne, Rhonda Drewel and her husband Doug all of Belle, Sandy Kelley and her husband Patrick of Fulton, Terry Benson and his wife Peggy of Jefferson City, Lisa Wilson and her husband Steve of California, one aunt, Bonnie Vaughn of Fulton and many other family and friends.

Kim is preceded in death by his father, Sonny Vandelicht, sister Cheryl Vandelicht, maternal grandparents, Bill and Elizabeth (Keeney) Owens, and paternal grandparents, Eva and Arthur Vandelicht.

In honor of Kim’s wishes, there will be no services held.
