Larry J. Borror

Larry J. Borror of Belle died Wednesday evening, September 8, 2010, of an apparent heart attack while working in his barn. Larry was 69. Larry was born on June 12, 1941, in Pleasant Corner, Ohio. He is the son of the late Alvin and Doris Wears Borror. On June 23, 1978, he was joined in marriage to Joyce Wilson in Ohio.
Surviving Larry is his wife Joyce, a son Monte Borror of California and a daughter Beth Cope of Georgia, and five step children Leigh Ann with her husband Doug Simmons of Wisconsin, Beth with her husband Allen O'Donnell of Indiana, Mike Akin of Missouri, Mark Akin with his wife Leah of Missouri, and Amy with her husband Jeff Gooden of Missouri. There are eleven grand children and three great grand children. Also surviving are a sister Becky with her husband Ron Stewart of Tennessee, a brother Clint Borror with his wife Karen, and a sister in law Brigitte Borror of Ohio.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Harvey Borror.
Larry and Joyce have lived in the Belle community for more than twenty years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Viet Nam. Larry was a member of the Belle VFW post.
Services for Larry were held Saturday morning in the Sassmann's Chapel in Belle. Ken Patterson officiated. Interment was in the Countryside Memorial Gardens.
