Linda D. Mitchell

Linda Denise Mitchell, age 63, of Belle passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

She was born November 9, 1958, in Belle, a daughter to the late Gene and Dorthaleen (Ridenhour) Noblett.

She was a lifelong area resident and a 1977 graduate of Belle High School.

On June 11, 1977, she was united in marriage to James “Pudd” Mitchell in Belle. Pudd survives of their home in Belle.

Linda was employed as a Family Advocate at Head Start in Belle before retiring after 23 years.

Linda enjoyed being at home. In all of her spare time, you could find her in the kitchen, which was never disappointing, playing Skip-Bo and Trouble with the grandkids, or watching her soaps. She never missed her “Young and the Restless”. To pass the time, she enjoyed shopping online and scrolling through Facebook. Linda’s greatest joy came from time spent with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she will be missed greatly by them and the rest of her family.

In addition to her husband of 44 years, Linda is survived by: two daughters, Jessi Arnold and her husband Jeff of Owensville and Judy Ridenhour of Belle; three grandchildren, Madi Hinson and her husband Tanner, Maycie Weller, and Karsen Ridenhour; one sister, Jeanette Struemph of Belle; two brothers, Denny Noblett and his wife April of Belle, and Kenny Noblett and his wife Jo of Jefferson City; and two dogs, Max and Marley as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her fur baby, Rylee.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on December 11, 2021 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Belle. The doors will open at noon with a meal to follow.
