Linda Sue Shearer, age 72, of Belle, passed away Saturday, March 25, at her home.
Linda was born September 18, 1950, in St. Louis, a daughter to the late Elmer and Bessie (Poppelton) Frentzel.
On June 23, 1972, she was united in marriage to Wayne Shearer in California. From this union, two children were born. Wayne survives of their home near Belle.
Linda was of the Christian faith. She had been employed at several factories including Custom Printing in Owensville and Unilever in Jefferson City as well as helping Wayne with his business, All Season Plumbing and Mechanical. Linda was a hard worker with a big heart and too good for this world. She enjoyed sewing, baking cookies, raising her chickens, and picking dandelions and weeds out of her driveway which drove her crazy. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Linda will be missed greatly by those that knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband of 51 years, Linda is survived by: one son, Wayne Shearer, Jr. of Cuba; one daughter, Cheryl Shearer of Belle; four grandchildren, Savannah, Candace, Vivyann, and Elly Mae Shearer; two brothers, Arnold Frentzel and his wife Carol of Ballwin, and Eddie Frentzel and his wife Sue of Troy; and two sisters, Jackie Agles and her husband Bobby of Tuscumbia and Diane Barron of Farmington as well as many extended family members and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle. Private family graveside services will follow in the Liberty Cemetery.
