Mac John Hadley Ridenhour

Mac John Hadley Ridenhour of Belle died Wednesday evening, December 22, 2010, in the Frene Valley Nursing Home. He was 75. Mac was born on November 24, 1935, in Belle. He is the son of the late Herbert and Pearl West Ridenhour. Mac was married on December 2, 1972, to the late Betty Douglas Ridenhour in Clarion, Iowa.
Surviving Mac is a step son Harlan Waddell, two grand children Debra Connelly and Health Waddell and two great grand children Alexis and Zachary Connelly. Also surviving Mac are four brothers Gary with his wife Cathy, Jim with his wife Judy, Ronnie with his wife Deanna, and Stanley with his wife Della all of Belle, and two sisters Shirley Ridenhour of Linn and Audrey Holiday of Russellville. There are many nieces, nephews, and other friends.
Mac is preceded in death by his daughter in law Kathy who passed away this past June.
Mac was a railroad man. He started his thirty year career as a laborer and retired as a mechanic. Mac traveled and worked in several states. It was while working for the railroad in Iowa that he met and married his wife Betty. After retirement Mac and Betty settled in his home town of Belle.
