Marilyn Given Campbell

Marilyn Given Campbell of Belle died late Saturday evening, July 23, 2011, in the Autumn Meadows nursing home in Linn. She was 92. Marilyn was born on February 25, 1919, in Linn. She is the daughter of the late Vachel and Dora Bunch Jones. On August 14th, 1948, Marilyn was joined in marriage to James Arthur "Bill" Campbell.
Marilyn attended Central Missouri State College and earned a bachelor of education degree. She taught school for many years and retired as a special education teacher in Owensville. She was a member of the Missouri Alpha Theta Chapter of the Delta Kappa Society, a professional honorary society of women educators. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Marilyn and Bill were members of the Liberty Church of Christ.
Surviving Marilyn is a sister in law Wanda Campbell and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding Marilyn in death is her husband and a brother Melvin
