Marjorie Ruth Ridenhour, age 83, of Belle, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Marjorie was born on November 5, 1930, in, Osage County Mo., a daughter to the late Thomas George and Nannie Vern (Monroe) Kemple. .

On June 26, 1948, she was united in marriage to Warren Ridenhour, who preceded her in death on December 12, 2005.

Marjorie was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Belle. She enjoyed roses, gardening, watching Old Western T.V. shows, quilting, and crocheting and making afghans. She and her husband were lifelong farmers raising chickens, dairy cattle, hogs, and beef cattle.

She will be missed and remembered by all who know and loved her.

Marjorie is survived by a daughter, Sandra Gaye Crutsinger of Linn; one son, Timothy Robert Ridenhour of Bella Vista, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Tommi, Chad, Casey, Thomas, and Sarah; twelve great-grandchildren and one due in September; Sisters, Vivian Spurgeon, of Belle; Nancy Ford of Victoria, Texas, Virgina Kay Gilpin of Russellville and Carol Bowers of Camdenton and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

In addition to her parents and husband of fifty six years, Marjorie was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas B. Ridenhour and an infant son; one brother, Glen Kemple and one sister, Mary Banks.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014, at Sassmann’s Chapel in Belle.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Community of Christ Church in Belle with Elder Larry Banks officiating. Interment will follow in the Community of Christ Cemetery in Linn.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to Community of Christ Cemetery in Linn.
