Mildred Sophia Crutsinger

Mildred S. Crutsinger, age 89, of Belle, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013, at the Gasconade Manor Nursing Home in Owensville.

Mildred was born September 16, 1924, in Osage County, a daughter to the late John W. and Edna (Roesner) Runge.

On January 27, 1947,Mildred was united in marriage to Glen W. Crutsinger.He preceded her in death.

Mildred worked at the International Shoe Factory in Belle for over 30 years before retiring.She was a very hard worker all of her life. She was a great cook and loved to entertain family and friends on holidays. Her coconut pie was known to be fantastic. Also, she loved to help people, quilting and sewing. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family either on the phone or in person.She definitely was a people person and never met a stranger.She loved her pet dachshund, Annie, and missed her greatly after she passed. Mildred's greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all of them.

Mildred is survived by three sons: Son, Larry J. Crutsinger and his wife Faith of Oak Ridge, MO, Grandson, Larry Crutsinger Jr. and wife Angela, great grand-daughters Morgan and Lauren Crutsinger of Whitewater, MO; Grandson, Jody Crutsinger and wife Teri, great grand-daughter Cassidy Crutsinger and great grandson Caden Crutsinger of Advance, Mo. Son, James E. Crutsinger of Belle, Grandson,Chad Crutsinger, great grand-daughter Megan Crutsinger and great grandson Nick Crutsinger of Belle; grandaughter Casey Wilburn and Husband, Nick, great grand-daughter Caitlin Crutsinger, great-grandsons Landon, Braxton, and Mason Wilburn of Belle; also Son, Bob G. Crutsinger of Kansas City; one brother, Edwin Runge and wife Ida of Belle; as well as, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Sassmann's Chapel in Belle.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., October 23, 2013 at the Belle United Methodist Church with Pastor Sandra Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in the Koenig Cemetery.
