Norma June Enke

Norma June Enke of St. Peters, and formerly of Bland, MO, died Saturday morning, October 10, 2009. She was 71. Norma was born on July 8, 1938. She is the daughter of the late Tom and Dessie Howard Woemmel. On September 3, 1960, Norma was united in marriage to Carl Enke in Bland. They were blessed with two sons.
Surviving Norma are her sons Steve with his wife Pam of St. Charles and David with his wife Lisa of Tulsa. There are two grand children Dan and Sarah. Also surviving Norma is one brother Ray Woemmel with his wife Garra of Bland and two sisters Dorothy Smith of Bland and Sharon Miles with her husband Mike of Rolla.
Norma is preceded in death by her parents and three infant siblings Thomas, Beth, and Linda. Norma graduated from the Bland High School. She worked for thirty years for the St. Joseph's Hospital in St. Charles. She retired in 1999.
