Patsy Ann "Ridenhour" Heitman

Patsy Ann (Ridenhour) Heitman, age 73, of Belle, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis surrounded by her family.

Pat was born on January 26, 1943, in Belle, a daughter to the late Harold "Dick" and Geneva (Owens) Ridenhour.

She was a 1961 graduate of Belle High School and a member of the First Baptist Church.

On September 20, 1974, she was united in marriage to Henry "Tom" Heitman III. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1998.

Pat had been employed as the Belle City Clerk, Secretary for Belle High School, and had her own monogram business when she lived in St. Louis. Pat played the piano and gave lessons. She was a foster parent and sponsored less fortunate children. She also worked for the Belle newspaper and as a life guard at the Belle Country Club, but her life was her family. She loved being a mother and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by those that knew and loved her.

Pat is survived by: three sons, Henry Thomas Heitman IV and wife Peyton of Willington, N.C., Henry Thomas Heitman V and wife Amy of Barnhart, MO, and Harold "Chris" Heitman of Vienna, MO; two daughters, Dana (Copeland) Deeken and husband Kirk of St. Louis, MO, and Greta (Copeland) Irwin and husband Jim of St. Louis, MO; two brothers; Dan Ridenhour of Owensville, MO, and Mike Ridenhour of Belle, MO; twelve grandchildren, and two great grandchildren as well as many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the First Baptist Church in Belle. Memorial Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Scott John officiating. Interment will be in the Pilot Knob Cemetery.
