Peggy Lee Lingo, age 69, of Bland passed away June 25, 2021, at her residence.
She was born on February 27, 1952, in Hermann, a daughter to the late Charles and Billie Lee (Woody) Seidner.
On January 20, 1979, she was united in marriage to Tommy Ray Lingo in Pacific. Tommy preceded her in death on April 11, 2021.
Peggy had been employed at Dollar General for over 23 years.
Peggy enjoyed doing word puzzles, playing on the internet and Facebook, and watching murder/mystery shows on TV. She liked to dance when the mood hit her and listening to music as well as reading romance novels. Peggy was a excellent fisherman. She liked playing Rummy, Scrabble, and Aggravation with her children when they were young. Peggy loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Peggy is survived by: one daughter, Vickie Ames of Belle; three sons, Vince Ames of Bland, Craig Ames of Belle, and T.J. Lingo of Bland; eight grandchildren, Steven Ames and his wife Hannah of Gerald, Kristie Turpin of Belle, Robert Turpin of Belle, Clinton Ridenhour of Belle, Jayden Ames of Belle, Aaliyah Nichols of Belle, Thomas Lingo of Owensville, and Justin Lingo of Owensville; five great-grandchildren, Stevie Ray and Lillie Ann Ames, Andrew Carpenter, and Robertwayne and Jackson Turpin; and two brothers, Dennis Seidner of Jefferson City and Michael Seidner of Lake Ozark as well as many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents and spouse, Peggy was preceded in death by one step-brother, Keith Webster.
Memorial services for Peggy will take place at a later date.
