Rachel L. Theriot, age 39, of Linn passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Washington.
Rachel was born on September 27, 1979, in Raceland, LA, a daughter to Blenda (Lowery) Rector. Blenda survives, with Rachel’s step-father Dennis, of their home in Belle.
She was a 1997 graduate of Belle High School and was employed as a C.N.A in Linn and Odessa, MO. Rachel was also a licensed Massage Therapist.
Rachel was a very fun loving person. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh and bringing smiles to their faces. Rachel liked to dance for fun and listening to music. Her hobbies included refurnishing furniture, arrowhead hunting, and going to the casinos. Above all she loved her two children. They were the light of her life. She will be missed by Gunner and Makayla as well the rest of her family and many friends.
In addition to her mother and step-father, Rachel is survived by: one son, Gunner Shanks of Linn; one daughter, Makayla Theriot of Linn; one sister, Chrystal Theriot and her fiancé Shaun Renaud of Freeburg; two brothers, Robert T. Alee, Jr. and his fiancé Tasha of Wellington and Jaimie Allee of Wellington; grandmother, Shirley Rector of Belle; and her “special mom”, Rhonda Peters of Linn as well as many nieces, nephews, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Rachel is preceded in death by a brother, Mathew Lowery, her biological father, Robert Allee, a niece, Brienna Bolton, a grandfather, Milford Rector as well as her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Belle First Baptist Church. A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall.
