Shad Patrick Ridenhour of Jefferson City died Sunday, August 9, 2009, in a jet ski accident on the Osage River. He was 41. Shad was born in Jolliet, Illinois, on August 28, 1967. He is the son of Toni Wallace Ridenhour of Belle and Danny Ridenhour with his wife Dyana of Belle.
Surviving Shad are his parents, wife Dee, a son Broc and a daughter Kylie. Also surviving Shad are two brothers Shane Ridenhour with his wife Corinna and their family of Jefferson City and Joshua Ridenhour of St. Louis. There are many other family members and friends.
Shad is preceded in death by his paternal grand parents Dick and Geneva Ridenhour and maternal grand parents Everett and Patsy Wallace
Shad grew up in Belle and graduated from the Belle High School. He attended East Central Community College on a basketball scholarship. Shad served in the National Guard. For twenty years he owned and operated Ridenhour landscaping and excavating business in Jefferson City. Shad was always active, adventurous, daring, and full of life. He was generous, willing to help, and a good friend to many.
