Toni Lane Ridenhour, age 72, of Belle passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at her residence.
Toni was born on March 11, 1947, a daughter to the late Everett Harold and Patricia J. (Abel) Wallace.
Toni was a 1965 graduate of Belle High School and was a member of Belle First Christian Church.
On August 21, 1966, Toni was united in marriage to Danny Ridenhour at the Belle First Christian Church. From this union, three children were born. Although they later divorced, Danny and Toni remained close
Toni was wild and carefree. She found joy in everything and could make a party out of just about any occasion. She enjoyed traveling, reading tabloid magazines, cooking, eating good food, gardening, driving too fast, entertaining, and going on float trips. She was candid to a fault, funny, and brazen. She wrapped all her family in the warmth of her love, and like any gift she ever wrapped, it was beautiful.
Toni owned and operated The Flower Patch Floral Shop in Belle for 21 years. After selling, Toni remained active at the shop, helping her close friend, Trisha, with flower arrangements.
Toni is survived by two sons, Shane, and his wife, Corinna Ridenhour, of Jefferson City and Josh Ridenhour of Belle; five grandchildren, Broc Ridenhour, Joel Ridenhour, Kylie Ridenhour, Aaron Birdsong, and Eliana Birdsong; one sister, Trisha Sampson of Belle, her children Carrie Sampson-Samuels, Lauren Lansford, and Zac Lansford; and two brothers, Kelly Wallace of Belle, and Pat Wallace of Pendleton, Oregon, as well as many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Toni is preceded in death by one son. Shad Ridenhour who passed away on August 9, 2009, and two brothers, Brian Wallace, and Mike Wallace.
A Celebration of Life for Toni will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Prairie Star Restoration Farm, located at 117 County Road 741, with a memorial service following at 5:00 p.m. A dinner will be held after the services at Prairie Star and anyone attending is welcome to bring a side dish.
