Wanda Jean Tackett

Wanda Jean Tackett of Belle was born June 10th, 1927, in Granite City, Illinois. She is the daughter of the late Everett and Mary Krupp Rice. On Thursday morning, May 26, Jean passed away while being cared for in her daughter's home in Washington. She was 83.
Jean was joined in marriage to William Tackett on April 30, 1949. Along with raising four children, Jean also worked in several banking institutions. Bill and Jean had lived in Decatur, Springfield, and Granite City, Illinois, and Crocker, Missouri. They moved to Belle about 1970. After her retirement Jean enjoyed reading and participating in water aerobics.
Surviving Jean are her children, Michael Tackett of Jefferson City, Donna Ridenhour with her husband Randy of Washington, David Tackett with his wife Julie of Belle and John Tackett with his wife Lori of Belle. Jean was blessed with nine grand children and three great grand children.
Jean is preceded in death by her husband Bill. Also preceding Jean are two brothers Lloyd and Oden Rice and one sister Juanita Epperson.
