William "Bill" Henry Kearns

William "Bill" Kearns, Jr., age 77, of Herman, passed away December 20, 2015 at his residence.

Bill was born on January 2, 1938, in Warren, OH, a son to the late William Henry and Elberta Mae (Wilson) Kearns.

On August 27, 1957 Bill was united in marriage to Georgia Ann Teachout in Warren OH. Georgia survives of their home near Mt. Sterling.

Bill and Georgia moved to Missouri in 1979 from Ohio where Bill had been a Union Carpenter for over 14 years. He enjoyed watching sports on T.V, listening to classic rock and loved the band Styx. Traveling in his RV was his favorite hobby, and together with Georgia they visited many places out west and north, as far as Alaska. He loved spending time with family and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 58 years, Bill is survived by: four daughters, Leanne Custer of Florida, Kathy L. Salway of Ohio, Debra Lee Kearns of Ohio, and Amy Joe Trupe of Ohio; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his loyal pup, Lil' Guy, as well as many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by: two sons, Michael and David Kearns and two grandsons, Dakotah Kearns and Jesse Custer.

Private family services will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to a charity of their choice.
